Lubbock Man Displays License Plate Collection

As Texas is celebrating 90 years of requiring motorists to register their motor vehicles, a Lubbock man is showing off his collection of Texas license plates.

Monday, Robby Crowder displayed his collection in downtown Lubbock. Crowder has collected thousands of license plates from Texas and other states.

Crowder says, "They start at 1917 and I've got them up to 2007."

Crowder says he has more than 45,000 plates from more than 100 different countries.
