Governor Appoints Two New Texas Tech Regents - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Monday night, Governor Rick Perry appointed two new regents to Texas Tech's board.

John Field Scovell of Dallas, you may remember him as a former Tech quarterback, and Jerry Edward Turner of Blanco. Both men's terms will expire in 2013.

Scovell is currently the president and CEO of Woodbine Development Corporation, and a member of several Texas Tech associations.

Turner is a partner of Vinson and Elkins, L.L.P, and the director of the Texas Tech Foundation, Inc.
