Fourth on Broadway Celebrations

With the fourth of July just one day away, crews have been busy preparing for this year's Fourth on Broadway. This year's theme is everyday heroes. Those who were featured on NewsChannel 11 will be riding in a float during the parade. Crews have been busy working and getting tents set up and the stages ready, for this year's Fourth on Broadway parade. As you know it's an all day event.

The parade will begin Wednesday at 9 a.m. It will run down Broadway Street from Avenue Q to University. Then a street fair begins at 11 a.m. with music, games and vendors. Musicians will perform on several stages throughout the afternoon. The festivities will continue Wednesday night. An evening concert at McKenzie Park begins at 7:30 p.m. The giant fireworks display will start at dark.
