For the second consecutive day, Xcel Energy is issuing a conservation alert to its customers. Xcel Energy is asking that its customers conserve energy until 7 p.m. Tuesday night.
The power company expects a high demand today. The demand in combination with some storm damage and maintenance repairs, the company has limited supply so that's why they are asking customers to conserve.
Xcel urges customers to limit power use through 7 p.m. Tuesday night in order to reduce the strain on the power grid.
