All Lubbock residents now have clearance to water their lawns once a week.
This comes after nearly a month of stage four water restrictions.Residents may now fill pools, wash cars and enjoy all the other non-essential uses that were banned beginning June 8th.
The water restrictions were implemented while a major water line was relocated as part of the Marsha Sharp Freeway project.
The city says, they hope to drop Lubbock down to stage one water restrictions with in two weeks. That means residents would be able to water their lawns twice a week.
