Teen Could Face Charges in Lubbock County Fatal Collision

A teen could face charges, after a fatal collision at the Erskine and North County Road 3200 intersection, Tuesday night.

DPS says Hardy Ware, 19, failed to yield the right of way, and his Pontiac Sunfire was t-boned by a truck. One of his passenger's, Monica Martinez, 23, died at the scene. Aerocare flew another passenger Sean Ware, 24, to UMC. He remains in surgical ICU.

DPS tells us, Hardy Ware was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

No one in the truck was injured.
