City Officials Allow More Watering

After more than a month of stringent water restrictions, all Lubbock residents may now water their lawns twice a week.

Thursday, the City of Lubbock announced they are dropping down to Stage One Water Restrictions. This comes just one day after, Southwest Lubbock residents were finally allowed to water their lawns.

The water restrictions were implemented last month, while a major water line was relocated as part of the Marsha Sharp Freeway Project, which is now complete.
