Bail is set, and there are new details about the murder of a Lubbock teen.
A $1 million bond has been set for Dameon Nicholas Pakus. The 17-year-old is charged with murder in the shooting death of Derrick Faulkenberry, 17, at the Park Apartments last month.
In a police report, Pakus says he lied in an initial interview with police when he said Faulkenberry had a gun. He also claims that he didn't mean to kill Faulkenberry, but he did, intentionally, pull the trigger because he thought the weapon was empty. Pakus says he turned himself in after talking to his mother.
