DPS Determines Cause of Truck Plunging into Ravine - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Investigators now say they know what might have caused a truck to drop 100 feet into a ravine.

D.P.S. troopers say Jon Forrest Igo, 64, lost control of his pickup about two miles north of Slaton on F.M. 400, around 8 p.m. Sunday. Investigators believe Igo was apparently looking for his wallet while driving at an unsafe speed.

Igo has since been treated and released from University Medical Center.
