Auto Theft Suspects Arrested Following Chase

Three people were arrested after for their alleged role in stealing a sport utility vehicle in southwest Lubbock overnight.

Police say the owner of a black GMC Denali woke up around 2 a.m., and saw that his vehicle was missing from his home in the 5400 block of 86th Street. Officers were on their way to the victim's home, when they spotted the stolen vehicle.

Following a brief chase, officers recovered the SUV at 87th and Richmond. Michael Dool, 18, and Jimmy Laird Junior, 19, were arrested and face numerous charges. A juvenile female was also arrested.
