A Taser lawsuit against the city and three Lubbock police officers is officially dismissed.
On Tuesday, a federal judge granted Bacilio "Ben" Martinez's request to drop his suit stemming from an April 2006 traffic stop.
Martinez originally claimed he was unlawfully tased, and that Lubbock officers violated his constitutional rights of search and seizure, and used excessive force.
It is unknown what led to Martinez's decision to drop the lawsuit.
