Especially in hot weather, it seems the sun gets a bad wrap, but not this time.

From the Harvard School of Public Health, researchers say there does appear to be a link between increased levels of vitamin D and a lower risk of colon cancer.

This confirms previous studies that have shown people who live in regions with greater sun exposure generally have fewer deaths from colon cancer.
