Lubbock Man Charged in Assault of Common Law Wife - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Jorge Martinez, 33, is now charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police found a woman hiding in a dumpster with cuts to her hands.

Last month, NewsChannel 11 told you about the incident in the 5600 block of 45th Street. The woman told police her common-law husband came home drunk, and assaulted her. The woman says the cuts on her hands were from trying to take the knife away.
