Lubbock Codes Department Targets Bayless Atkins Neighborhood

The city's codes enforcement officers are out in force this summer, checking for violations.

Thursday, they visited Lubbock's Bayless Atkins neighborhood. As always, their focus was substandard housing, junk vehicles, weeds, and trash.

The city's Solid Waste department also dropped off a dumpster at 66th and Avenue L, for citizens with large items to throw away.
