Rayshaun Parson Mental Competency Hearing Granted - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A judge will decide whether or not an accused baby kidnapper is competent enough to stand trial. Thursday, the court granted Rayshaun Parson a mental competency hearing for July 26th.

Parson faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted of kidnapping newborn Mychael Darthard-Dawado from Covenant-Lakeside, back in march. She and the baby were found one day later in Clovis, new Mexico.
