McCain Postpones Presidential Campaign Trip to Lubbock

Presidential candidate, John McCain, has postponed his visit to L ubbock. The Arizona senator was scheduled to make a campaign stop here next Wednesday, however, duty calls - and McCain must return to Washington.

"Recently we have found out that the trip is going to be postponed due to a Senate Arms Services Committee hearing, that the Senator serves the ranking minority member on," said John Steinmetz, Lubbock Republican Party Chair.

McCain is vying for the Republican Presidential Nomination in the November 2008 election.

NewsChannel 11 will let you know when this event is rescheduled.
