Fire at Denver City Chemical Plant - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

An investigation is underway into what caused a fire at a chemical plant in Denver City.

The fire started at the Wasson C02 plant early Friday morning. Joe Castillo lives near the plant and says the flames were higher than his home.

"I was concerned. I took my kids to my mother-in-law's in town. I woke up and got them out of here because it was pretty intense," Castillo said.

Fortunately, no was injured in the fire.
