A Lubbock man was taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon after he woke up in his truck with a knife sticking out of his chest.
Robert Charles Johnson, 44, told police he woke up in his truck at Berl Huffman Park with the knife in his chest. He then drove himself home.
Lubbock police went to his home in the 5500 Block of Harvard Street around 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Police found Johnson in the front seat of his truck with a stab wound in the upper chest.
He was taken to UMC with serious injuries. Police say they are looking for a couple of suspects in connection with the stabbing.
