Lubbock District Attorney Drops Charges Against Lingerie Store - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The Lubbock County District Attorney's Office has dismissed a case against the owner of a local lingerie store.

Back in May, police charged Gary Evans, the owner of Somethin' Sexy with promotion of obscene devices. This came after Lubbock police received a complaint that the store was selling obscene devices and executed a search warrant.

Police found the store to be in violation of the Texas Penal Code that prohibits the possession of six or more obscene devices. The owner of Somethin' Sexy claimed he did not know it was against the law.
