Part of West Loop to be Closed

Expect traffic delays on part of the West Loop Monday evening.

TxDOT will close part of the West Loop on Monday and Tuesday nights so work can be completed on the Westbound US 62-82 bridges.

At 8:00 p.m. Monday TxDOT will close the Southbound main lanes. Traffic will be detoured to the frontage road at the US 62-82 exit near Sam's. Northbound lanes will remain open and South bound traffic will reopen at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Then at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday the Northbound lanes will be closed. Traffic will be detoured onto the frontage road at the 50th street exit. Southbound main lanes will remain open. Northbound traffic will reopen at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
