Local Group Hopes to Raise Awareness Concerning Bond Recommendations

One local group hopes to raise awareness regarding the City of Lubbock bond recommendations.

As NewsChannel 11 reported earlier this week, Lubbock taxpayers may be asked to consider $300 million in improvements to the city.

Monday, at 11:00 a.m. Listen Lubbock will announce the group's initiative and upcoming events at the National Ranching Heritage Center.

The group, made up of community organizations, neighborhood associations, the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and community leaders, hopes to facilitate discussion on community issues and build community conscience regarding the City of Lubbock bond recommendations.
