Israeli researchers have developed a micro robot designed to travel through the smallest vessels in the human body.
In fact, this robot is considered the smallest in the world that does not require any external aid in order to move. It's just one millimeter wide and four millimeters long.
We already have some high tech objects that carry medicine, cameras and other devices into the body. But they are attached to various cables to transmit energy or information.
This new technology from Technion in Israel is wireless, so to speak and researchers hope this could lead to breakthroughs in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
