If you're a cyclist in Lubbock and frequent the bike routes, Tuesday is the perfect day to do so.
In just a few hours, Lubbock cyclists will gather in the UMC parking lot to ride existing routes and possibly proposed changes to some routes.
Durwood Mayfield, the outreach coordinator regional manager explains that Lubbock construction is causing them to reevaluate some of the existing bike routes and where you could see some proposed changes. They will finalize those changes next week. We'll continue to follow this story and bring you those changes.
The bike ride will begin Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. They will be pedaling off from the west remote parking lot at UMC, which is just west of 10th Street and Texas Tech Parkway.
