Slaton Shooting May Be Accidental - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A man is lucky to be alive, after he was shot through the neck around midnight Wednesday.

Slaton Police are still investigating this incident, however they tell NewsChannel 11 that the victim was taken to the hospital with an entry and exit wound to the neck.

Right now, investigators believe the shooting may have been accidental.

A gun was removed from the home.

Investigators tell NewsChannel 11 that the victim could be released from the hospital before the end of the day.
