Volunteers Needed for Peggy Merimon Search

With the year anniversary of her disapperance quickly approaching, Texas Equusearch has returned to help find missing Lubbock woman Peggy Merimon.

Merimon went missing from the Lubbock State School on August 9th with co-worker Kay Harrelson. Harrelson's body was found 11 days later near Shallowater. Equusearch says this information could be crucial to their search.

"The norm is that when you have two victims they'll be found close together. And we're hoping maybe Peggy was just overlooked, " said Cindy Wisdom with Texas Equusearch.

Volunteers are needed to search on foot, horseback, or four-wheelers. If you can help, you are asked to meet at the West Carlisle Fire Department at 8 a.m. Saturday and/or Sunday morning. That's directly across from Cagle Steaks.
