No matter what the time of day, you cannot make a stop in Post without thinking about breakfast.
C.W. Post arrived in Texas from Illinois and established the city of Post in 1907. Not only was Post a famous inventor and businessman, he's the man many of you eat breakfast with every morning.
C.W. Post is the namesake of Post breakfast cereals, such as Honeycomb, Fruity Pebbles, and Shredded Wheat.
His first attempt was a breakfast cereal drink called Postum; Post Toasties and Grape Nuts followed. To this day, Grape Nuts is Post's only product not successfully duplicated by a competitor.
