Community Coverage: Algerita Arts Center - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

One of C.W. Post's goals was to establish a town that thrived in population, business and art.

The Algerita Arts Center is home to art shows, quilt shows and plenty of classes and demonstrations for aspiring artists.

Located just one block east of the red light on Main, the Algerita was built by C.W. Post in 1907. Back then it was a hotel, but it reopened as an arts center in 1984.
