A Lubbock County Grand Jury handed down several indictments Tuesday ranging from capital murder to aggravated robbery to aggravated assault.
That grand jury indicted Alonzo Lewis for capital murder in the stabbing death of retired Air Force Colonel Don McCullough. Earlier this month, Lewis allegedly killed McCullough in his South Lubbock garage, just minutes after McCullough offered him a bottle of water.
A man suspected in several Lubbock hold-ups now stands indicted for one of them. A Lubbock County Grand Jury indicted Anthony Soria for aggravated robbery. The count is for the July 9th robbery at the Smoke Head Shop at 5302 Slide. Investigators are still trying to link Soria to other recent robberies.
That same grand jury indicted Daniel Arguijo Junior on two counts of aggravated assault and possession or marijuana. He's accused of shooting his roommate and then firing at police. It happened last month in the 2200 block of North F-M 2378. His roommate has since been treated and released from the hospital.
Finally, a high speed chase has resulted in both evading arrest and an aggravated assault indictment for Miguel Flores. The Lubbock teen is accused of leading officers on a high speed chase across the city in his mother's car, last month.
