Water Main Break Closes Lubbock Intersection - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Parts of 34th Street and Quaker are closed due to a water main break.

The problem started around 6:00 p.m. Tuesday night. Two westbound lanes on 34th Street,along with north and southbound lanes of Quaker running to 33rd street, will be closed until repairs can be made.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area. Crews will work through the night, but repairs aren't expected to be complete until late Wednesday.
