Health problems brought one of Floydada's newest residents to town
"Last year I had 5 heart attacks in a series of 9 months," said Michael Running Wolf, author and Floydada resident. "And when I talked with a friend, he said it sounds like you need a nice quiet place to recuperate and he said you've got to come to Floydada."
Michael Running Wolf has been in Floydada for ten months now, and says it is a great town and he loves the people.
The library even has one of Running wolf's books available for check out. It is called "The Trail of Elder Brother," a book about the Micmac tribe.
But that is not the only thing Running Wolf is known for. He had a small part in the 1970 film, "Little Big Man," starring Dustin Hoffman.
"I was in a scene where Ben T's men were at the center of the village," said Running Wolf. "Before they knew it was the center of the village, and the four of us were on horseback and I was the one in the middle."
