Lubbock Police Arrest Robbery Suspect

A man is behind bars after allegedly robbing the Diamond Shamrock on West 19th and Milwaukee.

Police say the man entered the store around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday. They say that he had a weapon. He then took an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk and ran into a nearby neighborhood.

Minutes later, police arrested BJ Marlin Petty, 30, in the 6400 block of 23rd Street.
