Officer Injured in Accident - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock police officer is recovering after being injured in an accident early Friday morning. Police say the officer was stopped at a red light at 34th and Avenue Q around 1:45 a.m. when his vehicle was rear ended by a pickup truck.

The collision caused considerable damage to the officer's car. Both the officer and the driver of the pickup were taken to UMC with minor injuries.
