Talk Show Host Tom Snyder Dies - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The man who hosted NBC's "The Tomorrow Show" has died.

Tom Snyder died in San Francisco Sunday from complications associated with leukemia.

Snyder was not your typical broadcaster and usually smoked cigarettes during his interviews. He left "The Tomorrow Show" in 1972 and returned to late night television on CBS more than 20 years later.

Snyder announced in 2005 that he had chronic lymphocytic leukemia. He died at the age of 71.
