Lubbock Pedestrian Killed by Suspected Drunk Driver

A Lubbock pedestrian has died, after he was struck by a suspected drunk driver over the weekend.

Matthew Paul Henderson, 39, was crossing the street in the 1500 Block of University Avenue around 2:00 a.m. Sunday when he was hit by a 2004 Toyota Camry. Paramedics took Henderson to University Medical Center, where he later died.

Jerica Hart, 19, was booked into the Lubbock County Jail Sunday afternoon. She is charged with intoxicate assault.
