O'Reilly Automotive Plans Distribution Center for Lubbock

NewsChannel 11 has learned that Lubbock will be the new site of a distribution center for O'Reilly Automotive.

The Lubbock Economic Development Alliance has offered the Missouri based retailer 25 acres of land just south of the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport.

Construction on the facility is scheduled to begin in the fall, with a projected opening in 2009.

The plant will bring almost 400 jobs to the Hub City.
