Fire Destroys Shallowater Mobile Home

A Shallowater family is now homeless after their home catches fire not once but twice overnight.

Shallowater Fire Fighters arrived on the scene in the 2800 block of North Quaker about 9:00 p.m. Wednesday night. When they arrived, flames were coming out the windows.

Fortunately, no one was home at the time. The house is considered a total loss.

Then fire flared up again just before midnight. A fire fighter injured his leg after falling through the floor.

Lt. Tony Lorenzi and his two sons lost everything in the fire. If you would like to help, contact the American Red Cross at (806) 765-8534.
