Some chose to take the wheel Saturday and drive for a cure.
And they did so in style for the 11th annual BMW Ultimate Drive.
It's a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Foundation in its effort to find a cure for breast cancer.
But participants didn't have to pay a dime for this ultimate drive.
Thanks to the generosity of BMW dealers like Alderson Motors, the companies donated a dollar a mile for the distance covered in every test drive.
BMW typically raises about a million dollars from a million miles driven during this event every year.
