Speed Was a Factor in Friday's Fatal Rollover - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Police say excessive speed played a roll in a one car accident that killed Phillip Thomas, 50, early Friday morning.

Police are still not sure about the time of the accident, but they know it happened sometime between 12:30 a.m. and sunrise. 

NewsChannel 11 has learned that both Thomas and his wife were employees of River Smith's. The restaurant is now accepting donations to help with funeral expenses. Donations can also be made at American State Bank.
