Lubbock ISD Breaks Ground on Outdoor Education Center

Lubbock ISD broke ground on a new outdoor education center at Harwell Elementary on Monday.

The $35,000 - $40,000 project is underwritten by Rotary International District 5730, which includes all four Rotary clubs from our region.

The center will allow teachers to create more learning opportunities outside the traditional classroom and to help underprivileged in the community.
