2007 National Night Out Celebrations will take place Tuesday, August 7th, all across Lubbock.
2007 marks the 24TH Annual National Night Out, a unique crime prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, and co-sponsored by Lubbock United Neighborhood Association and Target stores.
NNO festivities at A.B. Davis Park, located in the Maedgen Area neighborhood at 4102 Nashville Avenue, at 6:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
NNO is designed to:
Residents in neighborhoods across Lubbock are encouraged to lock their doors, turn on outside lights, and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police.
Many neighborhoods throughout Lubbock will be hosting a variety of special events, such as block parties, cookouts, visits with local police and fire departments, carnivals, ice cream socials, and talent shows.
Chatman Hill Neighborhood Association:
