Lubbock Businesses Supporting Western Little League All-Stars

Local businesses are coming together to show their support for the Western Little League All-Stars.

The team will play against a team from Roswell, New Mexico at 7 p.m. in Waco on Friday . If they win that game, the boys will be going to the Little League World Series in Pennsylvania.

To help the team with travel expenses, the Chamber of Commerce is asking that you pledge a donation.

"We are really proud of what they are doing representing Lubbock so please tell them and get out and help us," said Chamber President Eddie McBride.

City Bank is offering to match any gift given to the team up to $5,000.

Friday, the Rib Crib locations in Lubbock and Roswell will donate 20 percent of sales from the pork loin platter to the winner of Friday's game.
