Fire Destroys Central Lubbock Home

Lubbock Fire investigators are still trying to figure out how a fire sparked Friday morning, at 2005 Avenue K.

Firefighters arrived on scene at about 10:20 a.m., and quickly extinguished the blaze. However, the house is considered a total loss.

One person lives in the house, but was visiting next door when the fire began.
