A Lubbock man was stabbed in the back but didn't call police until 45 minutes after the incident occurred.
Dispatch originally received a call from a 7-11 at 2526 Parkway around 11 p.m. Saturday. The caller claimed a man was walking around and was bleeding from his back.
Police eventually located the man in the 200 block of North Zenith. The man had been stabbed in the back, but claimed he did not know who stabbed him.
Officers convinced the man he needed to seek medical attention and he was taken by ambulance to UMC around 11:30 p.m.
Police later took a suspect into custody.
