Lubbock Western All-Stars Travel to Pennsylvania

Lubbock's first team to go to the Little League World Series travelled to Pennsylvania Tuesday.

Early Tuesday morning, the team loaded two recreational vehicles and left Lubbock. South Plains Co-op donated drivers to take the team to Houston. From there, they flew to Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Coach Gerald Arredondo says playtime is over, and it's now time to get their game faces on.

"We're going to start analyzing some of our game film we have on Minnesota and try to look at their strengths and weaknesses," Coach Arredondo said.

The Western Little League All-Stars play their first world series game against Coon Rapids Little League, of Minnesota at 5 p.m. Saturday. The game will be televised on ESPN.
