Five Year Old Killed in Muleshoe House Fire

A five-year-old boy was killed in a house fire in Muleshoe Wednesday afternoon.

The fire started about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, but investigators are still looking into the cause.

The mother suffered burns to her hand trying to rescue the boy.
