New Stoplights Installed at South Lubbock Intersection

Lubbock's newest elementary schools will open for the first time in just over a week. That's why the Lubbock Traffic Commission is taking steps to make sure students are safe.

In July, the commission approved two all-way stops near Roy R. Roberts Elementary and a new stoplight at 82nd and Avenue P. Crews installed that new signal on Friday.

An all-way stop is also planned for Kemper at North Utica, near Centennial Elementary.
