Car Accident Sends Woman to Hospital With Serious Injuries

A woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries Saturday night after the vehicle she was riding in slammed into a tree.

Police are still investigating the accident that happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of 6th Street and Inler Avenue.

The woman was taken to UMC with serious injuries. The male driver did not suffer any serious injuries.
