An aircraft in the skies over Lubbock may raise a few eyebrows this week. The Liberty Belle will be of special interest to World War II enthusiasts.
The restored B-17 bomber is also known as a "Flying Fortress," and it comes to Lubbock with a new mission to bridge understanding between generations. And what better way to do that than taking a flight yourself?
The public is invited to take a ride in the Liberty Belle next Saturday, but reservations are required in advance.
