Lubbock Pickup Driver Hospitalized After Hitting Tree - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Updated 8:20 a.m. - A Lubbock driver is hospitalized Tuesday, after crashing his pickup into a tree.

Shortly before two a.m., EMS responded to 21st and University, where they found a blue Dodge Ram in the median, and a tree lying in the road.

Police tell us that the driver was knocked out following the impact. He was not wearing a seatbelt, and his airbag did not deploy.

A female passenger walked away with minor injuries.
