Western Little League Advances To US Championship - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The Lubbock Western All-Stars are now one game away from the US Championship title of the Little League World Series.

The boys beat Oregon 8-2 Thursday afternoon to advance. Things started off slowly for Western, who were down 0-2 in the second inning, but a three run homer by Bryndan Arredondo in the third brought the boys up to 4-2. Another three run homer by Taylor Bridges in the sixth made the score 8-2 which is where it stayed.

Western now faces Georgia Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the US Championship.
